Holiday Gift Drive

Dear Parents and Families,

Anne Sullivan School will participate in the Riverside County Children Services Annual Holiday Gift Drive for children in need.  If you would like to participate with your child, please place a new unwrapped gift in the basket in the front office.  If you would like a child with information about his or her age and gift wish, please contact the office.

Thank you for your participation.  It is a good lesson for young children to share the joy of the holidays to those in need.

The NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation congratulated the administration, teaching staff and families for continuing to uphold the mark of quality. Broadening Their World View

The children from the Kindergarten classroom enjoyed a presentation by Marissa Mojado from the Soroba Band of Luiseno Indians.  She shared with the children her elaborate costume which is decorated with beadwork and embroidery.  She explained why she chose the symbol of the butterfly which dances from flower to flower.  She wound up the presentation with a dance performance.  This colorful, rhythmical, enjoyable experience broadened their world view.  Learning about other cultures is a way for the children to grow in tolerance and understanding.
